Below is an overview of the MC70 Celebrations which took place June 17th - June 22nd, 2017. They were followed by a Knights of Columbus sponsored Novena for the Healing of Canada and an invitation for Bishops across Canada to reconsecrate their individual diocese on July 1st - the 150th anniversary of confederation. MC70 Celebration Dates/Dates des célébrations CM70
MC70 Anniversary Celebrations begin on Our Lady's Saturday, June 17th and run until June 23rd, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Thursday, June 22 is the recorded 70th Anniversary of the 1947 consecration of the Dominion of Canada to Mary. Parishes are invited to participate in the events listed below. Marian Consecration Resource Book
The MC70 Celebrations can fittingly incorporate a nine-day retreat using the “Marian Consecration for Little Souls Apparition based Retreat” book. The retreat is simple, engaging and introduces families to "Apparition Evangelization."
Individuals and families may make the retreat at home or groups can meet at the parish.
Consider beginning the retreat on June 14th to culminate with the recitation of the Marian Consecration for Little Souls prayer on June 22nd, the 70th Anniversary of Canada's consecration.
