MARK YOUR CALENDARS CANADIAN MARIAN MILESTONE SEPTEMBER 26TH, 2017 THE FEAST OF THE CANADIAN MARTYRS Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica in Ottawa beginning at 3:30 p.m. The Bishops of Canada, as part of their Plenary Assembly, will Consecrate Canada to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The MDM Pilgrim Queen statue of Our Lady of the Cape will be on site to greet pilgrims at this historic event.
The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops is the national assembly of the Bishops of Canada. It was founded in 1943 and officially recognized by the Holy See in 1948. After the Second Vatican Council (1962–65), it became part of a worldwide network of Episcopal Conferences, established in 1965, as an integral part of the life of the universal Church.
We invite all souls to pray a Novena beginning September 17th for the healing of Canada in preparation for this historic gathering of our Bishops in the Nation's Capital.
